The Sunday after Thanksgiving, Pastor Jason Meyer of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Minneapolis delivered an advent sermon entitled “How Long, O Lord?” The link to this powerful sermon is below.

Meyer is currently preaching through the Psalms, paying special attention to the laments scattered throughout. As Minneapolis reels from the hate crime that occured in their city just a couple of weeks ago, Meyer aids his congregation (and us) through the process of lament which is a balm to our souls.

This weekend, I encourage you to take the time to listen and allow the Word of God to teach you how to cry out to God in the midst of trial and pain.
