If done correctly, it forces us to our knees crying out to God as we learn that the only way we can die to ourselves is by walking with the Christ who gave himself. We’re learning that a reconciling church which calls people to die to themselves for the sake of God and others will be one of the most powerful ways to point people to the only hope we have in Jesus.”
